How many sizes can a ring be adjusted by?
Most, but not all rings can be sized. The extent that they can be sized by depends on the design of each individual ring. In general, most rings can comfortably be sized at least two sizes down, and three up.
How much does it cost to size a ring?
When you purchase a ring, we can either size free of charge or at cost, dependant on the price.
- If your ring costs over £595, the sizing is free.
- If your ring costs over £300, sizing down is free, sizing up is at cost – from £25.
- If your ring costs under £300, we charge for sizing at cost – from £15.
If you are not buying a ring from us, please bring it into store and we will be pleased to give you a price. The cost depends on the number of sizes it needs to be altered, the type of metal required and the complexity of the work.
How long does it take to size a ring?
It usually takes 3-5 days to size a ring. If you need it completed quickly, let us know and we will try our best to have your ring with you when you need it.
How do I know what size I need?
If you don’t know your size, you can visit us and we will take it for you. If you aren’t local, then you may find a friendly jeweller near you that will do this. Otherwise you can buy a ring sizer at a reasonable price on sites such as Amazon.
If you are buying a ring for a surprise, you can always bring a ring into us that is worn on the same finger. You could also try asking friends or family that may know, perhaps a friend could drop ring sizes into a conversation.
